Boat and Guide Rate:  $1325 CAD/Day

**NOW TAKING BOOKINGS FOR 2020!**

Contact us now to reserve your dates, guide, and accommodation before the best dates are gone.

Our charters leave the dock at Westview Marina at 6:00 am and return by 3:00 or 4:00 pm. That being said, our guides are happy to stay out longer if the bite is happening later in the day. The most important part is putting fish on ice. From Tahsis, your guide will take you out to Nootka Sound, Esperanza Inlet, and/or offshore depending on conditions and where they know the fish to be that day.  You guide will do their best to catch your daily limits of Halibut, Salmon, Lingcod, and more. The cost of the charter includes rods, reels, and all other gear needed to fish. We can accommodate up to 4 guests per boat

Please come prepared with rain gear and warm layered clothing (the weather on the water can change rapidly), your camera, seasickness medication (we have found the patch behind the ear works best), and a packed lunch with snacks. Feel free to bring drinks on board but please leave any glass bottles onshore.

Policies & Other Notes

  • All rates are subject to GST

  • A $500/day (plus $50/night's accommodation) non-refundable deposit is required at time of booking to reserve spot. The remaining balance is due at the start of your trip.

  • Trips booked over 6 months in advance may be subject to a fuel surcharge if the local cost of gas increases over 25% from the 2019 season to the 2020 season. We will be able to let you know in May if this surcharge will apply and appreciate your understanding in this unpredictable time.

  • Shoulder season rates of $1200/day apply for the months of May and September.

  • Refunds are only available 6 months before your trip. After 6 months, only any funds paid in excess of your deposit are able to be refunded. While we do not expect our side of the island to face incredibly excessive regulations in the 2020 season thanks to the large number of salmon released here yearly (9 million total), in the case that something did happen we would respond appropriately and consider offering compensation to guests booked during closures.

  • We can accept payment by e-transfer, cash, cheque, and credit card. Please note, a processing fee of 2.9% will be added to credit card transactions.

  • Gratuities are always appreciated.

  • All guests must have a fishing license with a salmon stamp. They can be purchased at the marina in Tahsis or online before you get here.

  • Unless explicitly agreed upon otherwise, we expect guests to pack their own lunch, snack, and drinks for the boat. We also recommend bringing sunscreen and your camera. Please leave bananas and glass bottles onshore.

  • Guest safety is always our top priority. We ask that you respect our guides, boats, and gear so that we can give you the best experience possible. If the guides believe you are unfit to be on their boat due to intoxication etc. and are jeopardizing the safety of yourself and others they may make the call to bring the boat back to shore.

They offer 1-3 bed options and all units have full kitchens. Contact us for more details. Please let us know what your preferences are and we will be sure to arrange something that suits your needs.

If you need help organizing other aspects of your trip such as food, drinks, transportation, or other island activities please let us know Whatever it is, we want to ensure your fishing holiday is as fun and successful as possible.

Please note that while there is a small grocery store in town and the marina is fully stocked if you forget anything, we strongly recommend purchasing groceries and anything else you will need for your stay before you leave Cambell River.
